Epic chiptunage. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Konami's iconic Contra series, Mondo gives Contra III: The Alien Wars a proper vinyl pressing! Originally released for SNES/Super Famicom in 1992, the game followed up Contra and Super C to bring the classic run and gun alien blasting action into the 16-bit realm. Of course, Konami Kukeihei Club expertly handled the music, taking full advantage of the new audio capabilities of the Super Nintendo. The result is chaotic and tense, with plenty of complex time signatures and percussion patterns perfectly suited for intense action gaming. This release coincides with the 25th anniversary of the game, and comes complete with gatefold sleeve featuring art by Paul Mann, remastered sound by James Plotkin, and obi strip.
