Pixx is the musical alter ego of Hannah Rogers from Chipstead, a place in the south of London. Born into a music-loving family and inspired by her father's huge platinum collection, she was encouraged at a young age to live out her creative veins. At the age of 16, she joined the prestigious The BRIT School, where artists such as Adele, Amy Winehouse and King Krule had previously squeezed the school bench. Amazingly Hannah began to think about releasing her own music after her graduation. Inspired by Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Aphex Twin, she worked on her own songs. After completing a label home at 4AD and performing at the Glastonbury and Latitude Festival and the Daughter, Glass Animals and Lush program, the time was ready for the recordings of "The Age Of Anxiety". In this, she uses childhood nightmares as a metaphor for describing current social issues. Taking the perspective of a social commentator who is haunted by growing discomfort both in his dreams and in reality, he throws a personal view of the world order through personal experiences.
