Resist the Ocean: Thunderbolts from the pit The guitarist is right in the middle of the Circle Pit, stoically like a stormy and spraying rock. He fires his riffs like volleys of a machine gun. Skin-tight fancontact is a trademark of Resist the Ocean. Her debut albums Heart of the Oak with ten songs will be released on April 28, 2017. Scenes like those just described are often found in Resist the Ocean. At the Rockavaria Festival in 2016, for example, the bass player climbed into the audience during a song to welcome some friends. After all, the Nurembergers shared the audience with Iggy Pop, Slayer and Anthrax - and: "In a way, we were the lead band for Iron Maiden, who played only 29 hours after us" feileit frontman Jochen Hofmann. In addition, Resist the Ocean and Rise of the Northstar were on the stage at the Munich Free & Easy Festival and rocked the K?pfel Open Air in Nuremberg with Unearth. Since its founding in 2012, the quintet has already played more than 100 gigs. The archaic, energetic Liveshows inspire both the audience and the press as well as the mixture of original metalcore a la As I lay dying, hardcore, thrash metal and pop punk, which wafts from the boxing. Resist the Ocean had a first taste of it already in 2014 with their self-imposed EP Weather the Strom, whose eight songs were enthusiastically received by the critics.
