Mike Mareen has been working in the music business since the mid 70s, wrote and composed some important hits and cover versions. The Berliner collected his first musical experiences as drummers and singers in different bands. It was only with the music label "Night n Day", founded in 1982, that he wanted to help newcomers, that the breakthrough was successful. The first single "Dancing In The Dark" reached at the same time in 27 countries of the dance charts and became one of the top show acts in Europe over a night. His commercial breakthrough came in the summer 1986 with the single "Love Spy", of which over 6.5 million records were sold worldwide. With the successor single "Agent Of Liberty", this success has been confirmed. As a result, all the achievements led to the release of two albums. "Dance Control" and "Let Start Now", which were released after 30 years with additional bonus material. This album is remastered according to the latest technical standards from the original tapes and elaborately remastered.
