Together with Blackberries and Palace Fever head Julian Mueller, Suzan Kuecher has recorded her first record, which is to appear next fall. Over the past year, she has appeared as a live member of Palace Fever with acts such as Wanda, Ron Sexsmith, The Fratellis and The Sonics, playing her solo songs for the first time in front of a large audience. Also for artists like Dirk Darmst?dter, Wild Feathers or Scott Matthew, Suzan was already on the stage as support. Now it is not only time for a first official release, but also for their first own headliner tour. The debut EP "Blood Red Wine" will be published on Unique Records, staged as a bloody 10 "vinyl. In her music she combines psychedelic folk-rock with dusty wild country and the melancholy of a Jew Sill, without going blindly in traditions. Brilliant to delicate acoustic guitars and rumbleing drum tracks meet in their songs on dark baroque Mellotron orchestration, prancing harps, a shimmering lap steel and halled electric guitars that meander between twang and fuzz sounds. Their lyrics draw dreamy images of abandoned souls, portray wild gangster stories or the lost and newly found love. All this, with her memorably undisturbed voice, is effortlessly combining depth with ease, expressing her timeless as well as quirky songs
