Re-issue from 2011. Sound structures of psychedelic, stoner- and drone-rock - fourth album of the Swiss. Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Mono and Pelican - these are the musical pillars on which the sound structure called Monkey 3 has been enthroned since 2001. "Beyond The Black Sky" is already the fourth album of the Swiss Quartet, which was mixed by the young producer Johann Meyer. As a result, the four sound engineers are as close to each other as they have rarely been before, and the magic of their breathtaking live shows is captured on sound carriers one to one. The eight instrumental pieces take you on a journey into dreamlike, yet disturbing soundscapes in which influences from psychedelic, stoner and drone-rock are reflected. Monkey 3 can rely on a steadily growing and loyal fan base, and at the latest since their third album "Undercover", on which they welcomed John Garcia (Kyuss, Hermano) and Tony Jelencovich (Transport League, M. A. N.) as guests, they are no longer unknown internationally.
