Monkey Safari run a well-known club in their hometown of Halle, the Charles Bronson, as well as their own label Hommage, which regularly occupies top positions in the Beatport Tech House charts. With DJ gigs at festivals like Time Warp or Awakenings and releases on labels like Kompakt, Minus or Bedrock, including remixes for Marc Houle, K?lsch, Wolf+Lamb, Guy Gerber, Josh Wink and Moby (!), Monkey Safari have built up an international reputation over the years. Odyssey-, the title of their new album, aptly describes the process of its creation, which, initially planned as a listening work, evolved into authentic club music for a variety of different dance floors in the course of the process, proving the unmistakable genius of the two accomplished DJs/producers.
