It is the sound that SUPERSONIC BLUES MACHINE has shared most of the sound of 2017 on various stages from Texas to Holland, to India and St. Petersburg, Russia. Starting with a place as head act at the Notodden Blues Festival in Norway. And now they are back with a new studio album that picks up the thread from their well received debut album West of Flushing, South or Frisco. Californisoul has really become a song record. Recorded in Fab's Lab studio in North Hollywood, California, where Grossi wrote most of the lyrics and the music came about together with the band and resulted in a modern soulful blues rock classic. SUPERSONIC BLUES MACHINE is Lance Lopez (guitars/vocals/songwriter), Fabrizio Grossi (bass, producer, songwriter), and Kenny Aronoff (drums). As proven on their first record and with the first round of performances it is not a party without inviting some friends and so they have some heavyweights again invited. Billy Gibbons, returns as a co-writer and with his guitar on "Broken Heart", Steve Lukather (Toto) throws out a pair of his brilliant licks on "Hard Times", Eric Gales is also again of the party on "Elevate", Robben Ford brings some his sophisticated game on "Somebody's Fool", Walter Trout.
