In fact, Tarantism's successful formula on Hungry Sally remained largely intact. Musically, Tito & Tarantula dared a good bit further. The production sounded more sophisticated and more sophisticated, not as rough as the first one. The very brittle charm of songs such as "When You Cry", "Love In My Blood", or the title required exact listening to recognize the falling doors and pits behind the more reserved sounds. The mood of the album had become somewhat more decadent and subtle. There was no over-saturation even in the case of repeated use of longer pieces.
