Tyranex... sounds like an extinct dinosaur and something similar can be seen on the CD cover. Founded in 2005, the Swedish band attracted attention in 2011 with their debut album "Extermination Has Begun" and the music press gave top marks for this work Now I have her third work and while I'm unpacking the CD, I already suspect that this silver piece is definitely not for romance lessons. The band plays metal, influenced by the golden era of 80s trash metal and you can tell from the first few seconds. The opener "Death Roll" hits you so hard, and I wonder where Shouterin Linnea Landstedt gets the air, even if it gets comparatively quiet in the middle of the song. Blade Of The Sacrificer "hits the same notch, wild speed metal, violent guitar shred and a voice going through my legs and legs that makes me a little nervous. With the song "Berget" the band adds a little bit more fun, turns a bit more at the speed and I almost have the feeling that my glasses would shatter with the high singing tones. The intro to "In Order To Live" gives me hope for a more quiet piece before it pops through my ear loops a few seconds later. Figth Them Back "and" No Justice "start with dark guitar riffs and these two songs, as well as Linnea's voice sound really fat... slowly I like the band. Bloodflow "fits seamlessly into the style, whereby Lennea's voice occasionally tilts back up in the air. But the whole construction of these three songs harmonizes very well. With "Beyond The Throes Of Evil" the record unfortunately already ends, as it started... wild, wild, trashing, shredding and the drummer does a lot of work on his furs. Conclusion: If you are into speed and trash metal in the style of the 80s, you will definitely like the record, no question about it. But if you think you're hearing something new here, you might be a little disappointed in some places. The sound also seems to me, at least for the present time, a little too lean, but that's how it was, the trash metal sound of the 80s.
