Producer Bobby "Digital" Dixon was fortunate and honored to have his sound engineering skills at Osbourne Ruddock (aka King Tubby) in the mid-1980s. With numerous works for various labels and artists as well as 100's of releases on his own 7-inch single label Digital B, he is one of the most sought-after producers of Jamaica from the late 80's until today, especially Gentleman (with the tune "Dem Gone"), Sizzla (with the album "Da Real Thing"), Morgan Heritage (with the tune "Don't Haffi Dread"), Coc VP Records now presents with "Serious Times" (Reggae Anthology Volume 2) the high phase of the Modern Roots genre and honours the producer with a nice 3CD set, with state-of-the-art remastered music and a beautiful booklet with detailed liner notes by John Masouri.
