The Bongo Club writes songs about being young, about life in the here and now. With driving guitars and hymnal choruses. Anybody Have A Lighter? is Sweden's debut album and will be released on February 23,2018, and will be released live at Lido in Berlin on February 16th. "We're about being young with a gigantic lust for life, being both confused, desperate and wanting to have all the fun. Not wanting to think about tomorrow but knowing you gotta be at work at 7:00am, if you even have a job. We're about all that, so we might as well celebrate it ". The words of The Bongo Club singer Jesper Jansson recall the golden, hedonistic Indierock years of the first decade of this century and its protagonists. Also the music of The Bongo Club does this. Since the release of their 8 song debut EP in 2015, The Bongo Club have already played in 17 European countries. In 2017 Owen Morris became aware of the band. The producer of such legendary works as "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" by Oasis and "A Northern Soul" by The Verve put the finishing touches to the album debut "Anybody Have A Lighter?" by The Bongo Club and mixed the album.
