CURRY, JESSICA - So Let Us Melt: Official Soundtrack (Sealed) (CD)

At the beginning of the year, the German soundtrack label Black Screen Records from Cologne released Jessica Curry's soundtrack to the genre-defining indie-hit Dear Esther on vinyl and CD for the game's 5th birthday. In keeping with the release of So Let Us Melt, the new Google Daydream VR Game by British developer The Chinese Room (Dear Esther, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture) from Brighton, Jessica Curry's new soundtrack will be released at the end of September as a limited double LP and CD on Black Screen Records. The soundtrack has been remastered especially for vinyl and can now be pre-ordered on orange and blue 180g vinyl. The artwork of the Gatefold Sleeve, which has been refined with special matt and spot varnishes, was designed by the British design studio Atomhawk, who were also responsible for the beautiful Everybody's Gone To The Rapture artwork and also contains liner notes by Creative Director Dan Pinchbeck. The soundtrack, composed by Jessica Curry, was recorded at AIR Studios in London (including Dunkirk, Wonder Woman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them). Of course there is also a free MP3 download code. So Let Us Melt is a science fiction fable that plays in the world of Kenopsia and deals with a machine called Custodian 98. Among other living machines, Custodian 98 helps build the world while people are sleeping deep under the ice in Polar City. They begin with a simple stone, then create the atmosphere, create life and forests and oceans and marshes and mountains; they wake up every thousand years to make sure that Kenopsia develops exactly as it should evolve, so that the sleeping people can eventually live in a paradise. The custodians and machines love to sing with each other, they even learned special songs that make the plants grow faster, leave the air in the atmosphere and make the animals happy. But then Lassiter's comet hits the surface of the planet - and that changes everything.
