Exciting collaboration between the jazz innovator David Murray and the American musician/poet Saul Williams, who is probably one of the most important contemporary authors of the New York poetry scene. The album was recorded in Istanbul under the direction of Ahmet Ulug in a killer occupation. The withdrawn jazz completes the strong lyrics of Saul Williams, partly from his book US (a), which deals with social themes such as "race, class, gender, economics and culture in modern-day America". The line-up: David Murray (Sax), Orrin Evans (Piano), Nasheet Waits (Dr), Jaribu Shahid (Bass), Saul Williams (Poetry & spoken word), Craig Harris (Trombone), Pervis Evans (Vocs), Jason Moras (Rhodes), Aytac Dogan (Kanun) and Mingus Murray (Gui)
