US-Burlesque artist, model and fashion designer Dita von Teese releases a mix of tingling electronica and soft psychedelic pop on her self-titled debut album. Produced and written by the French musician Sebastien Tellier. The recordings, in which the artist had the fantasy of a modern Brigitte Bardot and Serge Gainsbourg moment, took place in Sydney, Los Angeles and Paris - with the participation of keyboarder John Kirby (Solange, Blood Orange) and the Midnight Juggernauts drummer Daniel Stricker, who also took part in the production together with Sebastien Tellier. The LP appears on pink vinyl in a printed inside pocket in glossy gatefold.
