The London-based psych-folk quintet The Hanging Stars releases their second album, Songs For Somewhere Else, on the band's own label Crimson Crow. Inspired by both sides of the Atlantic, the British focus on the glowing ashes of the early 1970s psychedelic folk and cosmic country scene and transform them into an energetic, contemporary sound. As the title suggests, this album is about an escape from everyday life, contrary to the cynicism and greed that permeates society.
