Seeds Of A Dandelion "is the new album of one of Britain's best-kept secrets - Jono McCleery - a young man blessed with a magical, heart-warming voice and equally impressive guitar skills. His fourth album will be released at the beginning of March on the Ninja Tune-Sublabel Counter Records, a decade after the release of his celebrated debut album "Darkest Light". On "Seeds Of A Dandelion" Jono enters new territory, where he assembles a whole series of cover versions and reinterprets songs from 1941 to 2013, including works by Billie Holliday, Scott Walker, Tim and Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright, Atoms For Peace (the authors of the first single "Ingenue") and Beyonc? ("Halo"). Based on the breathtaking interplay between Jono's guitar playing and his voice,"Seeds Of A Dandelion" is a beautifully balanced and spacious record, whose heart-warming and rough arrangements are supported in the right places by strings, piano, percussion and bass. Tim Rowkins was back at the recording desk and also took care of production and mixing - like on Jonos' celebrated 2015 album "Pagodes". Dan See (Jamie Woon/ Nick Mulvey), Milo Fitzpatrick (Portico Quartet) and Steve Pringle (Michael Kiwanuka) were each responsible for drums/percussion, bass and keyboard instruments.
