Unknown hardbop and cool jazz from Berlin image films of the 1960s, recorded and restored by the master tapes. Music by the composer, vibraphonist and pianist Manfred Burzlaff (1932-2015), a true master of harmony, with improvisational concepts and experiments reminiscent of the famous style of the Clarke-Boland sextet. Lost soundtracks from commercials for the city of West Berlin, with original compositions as well as versions of Mobley's "Infra-Rae" and Tjader's "Crow's Nest". Burzlaff was one of the best European vibraphonists and a great arranger, which is not only said because he is no longer alive! Exclusive vinyl LP & digital, with unseen photos and extensive obituary by Tatjana Wulfert
