if you are a lover of 80’s thrash, then you will love this. This my friends is 80’s thrash done new Millennial style. Nimrod B.C., a thrash metal band from Chile, was formed in 1985. This was right around the time thrash was just finding its feet, with genre-breaking releases by Exodus (Bonded By Blood), Slayer (Hell Awaits), Anthrax (Spreading The Disease) and Megadeth (Killing Is My Business…). The band created a bit of a buzz on the underground thrash scene a few years later around 1988, when their first demo Time Of Changes was first released. They signed their first record deal in 1990, after their demo tape had gotten great reviews from a number of fanzines around the world and was chosen as FETU Magazine‘s demo of the year in Japan. Unfortunately, they never released their album at that time, and band founder Chris Ira unceremoniously left. In 2004, the band reformed and released the old demo, remastered with added unreleased studio tracks and recordings to fill out the package, before they disappeared into obscurity once again. NOW they are back!
