If one were to label ODD COUPLE with so many keywords that the bandwidth of its sound is sufficiently covered, the limits of this discussion would be quickly exploded. For example, a picture that can be drawn with tags such as Stoner psych, Krautrock, Post-Punk, Lava lamp jams and Neo-Garage and at least roughly frames the stylistic nuances of "It's A Pressure To Meet You". With this mix, the Berlin duo sounds like TAME IMPALA, BLACK KEYS, KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD, together with the ever-present Ty Segall on a BLACK SABBATH bike: bluesy, bass-heavy muscular skirt with many psychedelic notes, in the wide field between VIBRAVOID and UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS, but without being able to build up an almost as distinctive profile as the aforementioned corner pillars.
