BACH / ENCHO / POLUENC / ROUSSEL. In 2002, Lise de la Salle, then only 14 years old, recorded her first recording for naive. Now "Bach Unlimited" is released, her long-planned new album with the Italian concert BWV 972 by Johann Sebastian Bach and compositions dedicated to Bach from three centuries. The recording took place in December 2016 and March 2017 in the Bremen Radio Broadcasting Hall and contains four commissioned works by the pianist and composer Thomas Enhco,"Valse-Improvisation sur le nom de Bach" by Francis Poulenc, the fantasy and fugue on the theme B-A-C-H by Franz Liszt, prelude and fugue by Albert Roussel and the chaconne in D minor by Bach/B. Subtle, yet powerful, history-conscious and just as modern - this is how Lise de la Salle shows not only her great talent as an interpreter, but also her profound intellectual understanding for past and present composers. With this masterly and multi-faceted recording, she succeeds in achieving a perfect balance between science, form, expression and emotion.
