Contemporary reggae in dreamy calmness. The Regensburger Telquist, in his early twenties, promotes reggae into the year 2017 on his debut album Reggae by mixing the genre with contemporary production style and timeless dreaminess, so that even reggae muffle can't resist catchiness. Telquist sings of love, teenage anxiety and doomsday scenarios. For example, his single "If The Bomb"reads:"and if the bomb bursts tomorrow, you'll be here", freely adapted from the Pauline Epistle ("Love is stronger than death"), a recurring message, constantly reshaped by context and zeitgeist, and a look across the ocean gives the narrative of this story its necessity again.
