Mickey is survial pop. Mickey is the result of a situation in which you have nothing to lose except your own time. Their first album "Overtime" is a homage to their own limits and overcoming them. The tracks stand with one foot on the main road and the other on less well-trodden paths - that's how the first songs were created from gimmicks. They tried out what they wanted to try for a long time: The mobile phone recordings of the grand aunt's piano were mixed over beginner beats from an antique laptop. The lyrics were created as a mixture of clickbait and advertising slogans from the net and what happened yesterday or what is supposed to happen tomorrow. Especially the sketch, the first idea, is the impulse for Mickey's music, which, despite the melancholic lyrics, radiates a very positive energy in a great pop manner.
