With their new longplayer and the pre-record single" Haven ", Slears have arrived in Turbulent Waters" during turbulent times. The five musicians impressively prove that modern rock of a German band can sound at least as consequent, powerful and full of tension as the creations of style-forming American bands. With razor-sharp guitar riffs, groove-stressed drums and hymnal songs, the band delivers a powerhouse in ten parts that inevitably cuts its way into the ear canals. As far as the line-up is concerned, the quintet, which was founded in 2007 in the beautiful Schliersee, has long since reached its destination. Turbulent Waters" presents itself in the same line-up as its predecessor in 2014, which made the music press sharpen its ears for the first time.
