Uncertainty Is Bliss" is the name of the Relapse debut of the psychedelic hard rock trio Black Salvation from Leipzig. Black Salvation challenges the listener to open wide the doors of perception and slowly drift between her transcendental compositions and deeply hypnotic stories of magic and mysticism. In eight tracks and over 40 minutes Black Salvation mixes excellent blues, hard rock, doom and psychedelia into an intoxicating synthesis of rock' n' roll alchemy. The album was recorded mostly as an ensemble in one room simultaneously on an old Fostex 8-track tape machine. The aim is to capture the undisguised, unadulterated moment that is supposed to draw the listener into the whirlpool of music as intensively as possible. And so "Uncertainty Is Bliss" is certainly one of the most captivating rock debuts in years. A hot tip for all fans of Graveyard, The Stooges, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Witchcraft, In Solitude, The Doors, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, Electric Wizard.
