After Blaudzun had celebrated not only commercial success with his complex, rather dark albums "Heavy Flowers" (2012) and "Promises Of No Man's Land" (2014), it was no option for the Dutch artist to draw once again from the same creative source. Above all, he wanted to break out of the tour album cycle. With the help of the "Jupiter" trilogy announced in 2016, he succeeded in doing so excellently. The songs on "Jupiter Pt I" (2017) were quite sensual and danceable. The atmospheric second part published in the same year was marked by Blaudzun's significant songwriting. To conclude the triptych, Johannes Sigmond once again changed his artistic course. On the one hand he composed all songs on the piano, accompanied only by his voice, on the other hand he took his time and weighed every single note. Inspired by acts like Adele, Beyonc? and Nick Cave, they created catchy and melodious but by no means simple pop songs. The result speaks for itself, the first single release "Hey Now" was on permanent rotation on Dutch radio.
