180g vinyl with download code. On their debut album "Mara" the Munich jazz band Fazer combines African and Latin American rhythms with dubby basslines and melancholic melodies. The unusual lineup with two drummers (Simon Popp, Sebastian Wolfgruber), bass (Martin Brugger), guitar (Paul Br?ndle) and trumpet (Matthias Lindermayr) leaves enough room for unrestricted improvisation. Through repetition and finely tuned structures, Fazer generate a tremendous energy that can be felt both on their live shows and on the LP.
