GORILLA MONSOON, who finally released their third album "Firegod - Feeding The Beast" after seven years of waiting after "Extermination Hammer", was pretty quiet for a long time. Fortunately nothing has changed in the stylistic orientation, the people of Dresden still sound more like desert than "blooming landscapes". That's the way it should be, because with their fiery powerful, snappy mixture of crisp Stoner Rock, monstrous Sludge, Southern and Doom Metal, enriched with an extra portion of coolness, GORILLA MONSOON inspired from the beginning. With "Firegod - Feeding The Beast" GORILLA MONSOON have created a hard, rough, testosterone-charged and uncompromising album, which is in no way inferior to its equally strong predecessors, but does not really top them.
