Wah Wah Wah 45s release ORANGE WHIP, the new album from Honeyfeet. The outfit, which has received much praise from The Guardian and others, also played at festivals with its unique blend of sounds. In recent years, Honeyfeet (who were named after a quote from the Blues Brothers movie) have been a channel for the ideas of an exotic mix of Manchester musicians. This contemptuous band integrates styles such as jazz, folk and hip hop into their music. Someone once called it folk hop and barrelhouse-pop, and that's only vague enough to make sense.
