The great Bob Dylan once said that touring was like breathing for him: elementary for the writing of his songs and the survival of his music. The FolkRock band Mainfelt from South Tyrol has adopted this principle on their new CD "Backwards Around the Sun" and decided to immortalize this universal feeling, this lifestyle of "Life on the Road" in 12 songs. The song "All My Ghosts" was newly produced by Mainfelt together with Jochen Schmalbach! The band describes their songs as "Handcrafted and Heartmade". Patrick, Kevin, Veit and Willy present themselves with much love for detail, a portion of humanity and an incomparable charm on the new album, which, although the title may suggest it, does not look back into the past, but rather looks forward to a glittering and successful future. With musicians it sometimes holds itself just like with good Scotch. As time goes by, they mature and develop a special touch that makes them unique. With "Backwards Around the Sun" Mainfelt has succeeded in doing so.
