The band Not Scientists emerged from the Uncommonmenfrommars and No Guts No Glory at the end of 2013. After an EP, a 7" and the debut album, Destroy To Rebuild", her second lomg player, Golden Staples" will be released in April 2018 in a coop between Kidnap Music and Rookie Records. The album was recorded by Santi Garcia at the Ultramarinos Costa Brava Studios. Not Scientists met Santi on her last tour of Spain and he invited her to his studio. The inspiring environment and Santis great experience as a producer encouraged the band to work with new sounds and also to go different ways in songwriting. Her musical influences range from buzzcocks to The Thermals to hot water music and super chunk. The French have apparently emancipated themselves from the influence of American pop/college punkbands with "Golden Staples".
