Champagne was a Dutch pop-group founded in Rotterdam in 1976. The band consisted of two in 'Gatsby' style dressed female and two male singers. They scored several hits, mainly in Western Europe. The singles 'Black Jack', 'That's Life', 'Light Up', 'Valentino' and 'Oh Me, Oh My, Goodbye' all reached the top 20 status. Their debut single 'Rock And Roll Star' reached the top 10 in The Netherlands, Belgium (#1) and Germany and reached the American Billboard chart where it remained for four weeks.
