The US Mexican percussionist Coke Escovedo, brother of Pete Escovedo and uncle of Sheila E., worked for Santana and Cal Tjader among others and recorded three solo albums for Mercury in the mid-1970s. His version of Johnny Bristol's song "I Woudn't Change A Thing" (feat. Leadsinger Errol Knowles) is considered the best and most played song from the album "Comin' At Ya" (1976). The modern soul classic is now experiencing an essential reissue on expansion. "Rebirth" feat. Linda Tillery on vocals on the other hand is a top tune from the album "Coke" (1975)
