The Jan?c?ek’s bring us the finest and best recorded performance so far of the F major ("American"). The D minor gains greatly from the better balanced recording, especially in the slow movement ... this is a distinguished and idiomatic performance. I warmly recommend this disc. The Jan?c?ek’s performance seemed to me the best we had ever had and it is not surpassed. - Gramophone
