Finnish melodic metal band Dyecrest is back from their break which ended up lasting almost a decade... Now, after 13 years after their latest release, the band is back with their most convincing album yet, called “Are You Not Entertained ?". Introducing Dyecrest’s new lead vocalist Mikael Salo and killer songs, the album is definitely a must-hear! With their new album, Dyecrest is proving that melodic metal can be aggressive (Red Alert, Salo’s duet with Bj?rn “Speed” Strid), traditional and catchy (First Born Angel) as well as sentimental at times (Nuku vaan, beautifully sung in Finnish by Elisa de Boer). Dyecrest’s debut album The Way of Pain (2004, Noise Records / Sanctuary) got received very well by the media and the audience, and was followed by a full length European tour supporting W.A.S.P (US) together with DragonForce (UK). The second album This Is My World (Dockyard1) was released in 2005. The band decided to go on a hiatus in 2008. Luckily they decided to write new songs, and the result was Are You Not Entertained?
