Juliette Gr?co, born 1927 in Montpellier, is a French chanson singer and actress. She is known as the "grande dame de la chanson" and is considered the muse of the French existentialists around Sartre. No wonder that she - like many other musicians, actors, artists, painters, writers and sportsmen - was portrayed at Studio Harcourt Paris. Founded in 1934 by Cosette Harcourt and her brothers Lacroix and Robert Ricci, the Harcourt, whose hallmarks are photographs that have their origins in the aesthetics of black and white cinema and combine the mystery with legend, quickly became a cultural hotspot. Together with the French label Wagram, Harcourt is now releasing a breathtaking vinyl series with the greatest successes of France's most important singers. Each edition appears on white vinyl and is decorated with a portrait made in the studio.
