The self titled LP is not a collaboration record between the two London based artists - Tim Garratt ( Moon Zero ) and Matthew Heywood ( Bruised Skies ) - but a focused project exploring ambient territory only hinted at with their "solo" work. It is a powerfully mournful and beautifully stark work, The soundtrack to walking through a storm of ash only to realise that the city is on fire whilst viewing this incredible spectacle from afar. Beautifully dark yet constantly hopeful, The record also plays homage to older and forgotten areas of our hometown of Hackney through field recordings, Ridley Road, a section of Hackney that houses a huge indoor and outdoor market and has been victim to violence over the years features heavily as a repeated motif as does it's genuine and uniquely recorded atmosphere that engulfs the listener at every stage of progression of this 3 part work.
