Sanctitude is the fantastic concert film of Katatonia's Unplugged & Reworked show in the legendary London Union Chapel. The acclaimed concert followed the release of the album Dethroned & Uncrowned, on which Katatonia presented songs from the hit album Dead End Kings in a completely new sound. Away from tons of metal sound to progressive acoustic interpretations with electronic influences. Never before has Katatonia been heard so intimate, so approachable. Beside songs from the Dethroned & Uncrowned album, the band also performs new interpretations of well-tried band classics. The 80-minute concert contains songs from the albums The Great Cold Distance, Viva Emptiness, Brave Murder Day, Last Fair Deal Gone Down, Dead End Kings and Dethroned & Uncrowned and offers an overview of the long career. Guest musicians are Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief) and Silje Wergeland (The Gathering). The CD in the Mediabook contains a DVD with the complete concert plus 60-minute documentation.
