Tony Reed is a multi-instrumentalist and guitarist / singer with the band Mos Generator. With "The Lost Chronicles Of Heavy Rock Vol. 1" he pays homage to many bands and songs of the 70s. Tony's got a habit, to keep a song in his head, until he covered it. No sooner said than done and so this cover album was made. He approached the project as closely as possible. possible to stay at the original what is on the way of playing and the recording. He did this very well. The idea of using this Compilation to be published on vinyl only, came to his mind as it was the time of the record was made when the songs were written. Very consciously the plate has the addition "Vol. "1", because actually there would have been many more songs on the album.
