The band This Wild Life has lived several lives. In their hometown Long Beach, California, drummers Kevin Jordan and Anthony Del Grosso met in 2010 after they had both been kicked out of their bands. They founded This Wild Life and played what they always wanted to do: Punk rock. But at some point they realized that they and their fans liked acoustic songs more and more. Their debut album "Clouded Records" in 2014 suddenly turned stage divers and permanent guests at Mosh Pit into listeners and singers. The successor "Low Tides" (2016) took the duo to the next level. Right at the beginning of the writing process for the third record "Petaluma", they decided to make music that would become lighter and more "upbeat". They limited the arrangements to hand-played instruments and thus opened the door to their hitherto most honest songs. Jordan and Del Grosso advise: "Listen to this record out loud with the windows down, on Sunday morning when you clean the apartment. Put on headphones and find solace in their escape."
