The Viennese producer & synthie magician Dorian Concept releases his Brainfeeder-Longplayer debut! Since the release of his album "Joined Ends" in 2014, Dorian Concept has appeared everywhere, from Glastonbury to S?nar to MoMA PS1's Warm Up, and from then on has consciously moved below the radar. Since then, he has spent his time saying goodbye to his actually wonderful production process and instead developing a brand new sound that nobody can count on. Inspired by the eclecticism of numerous generations of music (60s jazz, 70s fusion, 80s neo-prog rock, 90s electronica), Dorian Concept tried to replicate "modern" musical elements with old-fashioned methods, to play live and to record deceptively digital sounds in the service of an ironic "parody of nostalgia". As expected, the result - despite all calculated and conceptual considerations - is refreshingly unpretentious: dizzying crescendi, cacophonous breaks and formidable rhythms are both expertly produced and childlike, hyperactive and hyperfocused.
