180g, + DVD, + Downloadcode. Official release of an interim work issued only to registered band supporters in 2005. The Einst?rzende Neubauten discovered sounds beyond the pain threshold, the beauty of dissonance and an aesthetic of the scrap yard. In other words: Blixa Bargeld & Co. have shaped the musical landscape more lastingly than almost any other German band. For almost four decades they have been breaking down existing sound boundaries in order to create new sound spaces time and again according to the maxim "Only what is not possible". Since its first performance on April 1, 1980 at the Berlin club Moon, the Berlin musicians' collective has established itself as radical, unpredictable and unconventional avant-garde formations, which continue to shape global listening habits with noisy anti-pop. With "Grundst?ck" a rarity from 2005 is published in regular trade. At that time the group only distributed the album as a strictly limited small edition to registered band supporters, now "Grundst?ck" can be purchased officially as CD and LP. Each audio carrier comes with a DVD with previously unreleased film recordings and an extensive booklet. "Land" is regarded as the link between "Perpetuum Mobile" (2004) and "Alles wieder offen" (2007). It is a deliberately unfinished interim work, which recorded the ongoing development process between two albums.
