The actual bossa nova crooner gets excellent Brazil funk/soul/boogie classics like the albumopener "Bananeira", a party version of the original by Joao Donato and Gilberto Gil. The 10 songs were written by Brazil legends such as Jorge Ben, Marcos and Sergio Valle or Ivan Lins, the'Who Is Who' of the Brazilian music scene, including Joao Donato, Wilson das Neves, Ivan Conti, Paulinho, Durval Ferreira, Carlos Roberto Rocha and Victor Assis Brasil.
