From the style-framework falling debut album of the great French trio, who know how to wrap you around your finger in different ways with an incredibly dynamic mixture of Mathrock and the rooms sometimes narrow, sometimes far reaching post-punk with atonal riffs and again and again post-hardcore borrowings of different kinds. The album tilts and revolves around itself like a DIY rollercoaster that often changes from one second to the next, but also takes time and space for developments within the songs, which are between 6 and 12 minutes long and follow the two excellent 3-minutes at the beginning: the post-punk start on "The Thread", influenced by the riffing of the Wipers, followed by the great, excellently going family song "Asylum" with so intensively unheard refused borrowings
