7th November, 1994, on Sunset Boulevard in LA, P?r Lindh released his long-awaited first solo album which was an instant success worldwide and just in time for the re-emerging new wave of progressive music in which Sweden had a leading role throughout the nineties. 'Gothic Impressions' received stellar reviews worldwide and was elected as one of the genre's ten best albums of all time alongside such great bands as ELP, YES, Genesis, Pink Floyd etc. Referred to as the most important keyboard-based release since ELP's 'Brain Salad Surgery' in 1973, 'Gothic Impressions' was seen as a milestone against which all other similar releases were judged.
