Amanda Shires is a highly respected American singer/songwriter and violinist. She played with the Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Texas Playboys, Thrift Store Cowboys and in duo with Rod Picott. She also played on "The Tree of Forgivenes", John Prine's 2018 album. Shires has released five solo albums so far. She is married to Jason Isbell and won the Grammy Award for "Best Americana Album" with "The Nashville Sound".
