After Tarja's first live album "Act I" was an acclaimed success worldwide and ensured high chart positions in 2012, the eagerly awaited live spectacle "Act II" of the Finnish exceptional artist follows. Recorded as part of their world tour "The Shadow Shows", during which the influential heavy rock singer with over 300,000 driven kilometers circled the world 7 ? times and played over 200 shows in 40 countries and in front of a million people, "Act II" is more than just a live recording. In addition to a very intimate 75-minute set of the singer, which was filmed and recorded live at Metropolis Studio in London, Great Britain, fans can enjoy a breathtaking live performance from Milan, Italy as well as previously unreleased interviews and photo galleries. The theatrical rock adventure "Act II" combines two incredible but nevertheless different live performances on video: The first chapter "Metropolis Alive" was recorded two months before the release of Tarja's worldwide chart success "The Shadow Self" (2016). 20 winners from all over Europe were fortunate enough to experience Tarja's intimate but rocking 75-minute showcase at the renowned Metropolis Studios in London, where the most successful Finnish singer presented her new songs for the first time. The second chapter of Act II was recorded at the magnificent Teatro della Luna Allago in Milan on 29 November 2016 and includes numerous hits from all four Tarja albums, including Innocence, Die Alive, Until My Last Breath and the great Muse cover Supremacy. There are also two special medleys on the tracklist: With the first medley Tarja enchants her longtime fans with the unmistakable Nightwish evergreens "Ever Dream", "Slaying The Dreamer" and "The Riddler". In another potpourri, the charismatic soprano with her experienced live band lets her own songs sound in a reduced acoustic garb. Even though the shows deliberately differ in appearance, sound, music and adrenalin level, both have one thing in common: from the first to the last piece you can feel Tarja's energetic performance and her graceful, charming presence. "Act I", Tarja's first live release, reached the top 10 all over Europe and shone with a sensational #5 position in the German album charts. In her home country Finland, Tarja occupied the top spot in the video charts for over two months.
