Kneebody's GRAMMY nominated saxophonist and co-bandleader Ben Wendel releases his studio album adaptation of the acclaimed YouTube video series "The Seasons". Inspired by Tchaikovsky's compositions, each piece is dedicated to a specific month. And a certain artist who has influenced Wendel's creative vision. "The Seasons" not only symbolizes the passage of time, it is also an opinion on how technology has changed the way artists communicate and share their music/art. Wendel first composed a 12-part cycle of chamber duets and then posted the pieces on YouTube on a monthly basis. The series, though not a real album, was praised by the NY Times as a "standout album of 2015", and for the studio album now available he rewrote the pieces for quintet. His fellow musicians: Aaron Parks, Matt Brewer, Gilad Hekselman and Eric Harland.
