Limited. Dub Spencer & Trance Hill play instrumental psychedelic dub reggae with rock and trance influences. What other bands can only do in the studio, the quartet brings live on stage. They inspire press and audience with their sure instinct for good sound, their humorous and respectful dub versions of well-known hits and their immense technical ability. The four musicians absorb all influences at will and create something completely their own and new out of them. There are Christmas albums for Elvis fans, choir lovers and pop lovers - but none for Dubnerds! Until now: Dub Spencer & Trance Hill have chased Xmas classics through the dub mixer and created a great Advent record. "Christmas in Dub" draws Christkindl melodies in low-end garb, but trip and trance are always in the foreground. Warm 60's/70's aesthetics, reggae feeling and of course a good portion of echo oo make for ecstatic holidays, whether on Christmas Eve, Easter or for the summer holidays.
