Grammy-winning producer, drummer, and composer Barrett Martin (formerly of Screaming Trees, Mad Season, Tuatara) announces the global release of his entire solo catalogue on his imprint label, Sunyata Records. Martin's new solo group is a Modern Jazz ensemble with a revolving cast of top jazz and rock musicians from Seattle and down the American West Coast. Simply called "The Barrett Martin Group", the band channels influences that range as wide as Martin's 25 years of album making, which recently earned him a Latin Grammy in 2017. Blending elements of Jazz, Rock, African, Brazilian, and Cuban rhythms, and even Ambient music, the BMG creates a sound across 6 albums that leans heavily into Jazz, while still embracing these other forms of music
